Sound in Horror

This YouTube video gave me great reasoning as to why sound is so important in horror films in making things appear scary to the audience. If there was no sounds or dialect in horror films then the audience would simply walk out as there would be no horror that attracts consumers. Viewers desire the suspense building soundtracks in order to get that thrill that they desire when attending a horror film. I will use this research in order to make sure that I implement sound in my main brief that will create suspense and horror successfully.
